Default Diff between 98 and 99?

Hey guys. Looking to buy a prelude for my wife. Were there any changes between the 1998 and 1999 model year besides the 5hp increase? List anything and everything that changed please!

BTW: the car I am going to go look at is a 98 with 125k miles....he's asking 8k but if I can talk him down to 7 is that a good deal? It looks to be bone stock with an auto trans.

Don't buy the 98 with 125k miles. THe SS tranny those years are more prone to problems than the more recent SS trannies. But all in all, the auto trannies have more problems than the manual counterparts.

offer 5000K and then replace the whole tranny and put a 5spd.

Well, first off if I wanted a 5 speed I would have bought a 5 speed. But the wife doesn't want to learn a 5 speed....she tried my MR2 and gave up.

Anyway, I don't think we are gonna go with a prelude...we need a car that can seat 5 people if necessary. And also the information about the automatic trannies makes me uncomfortable. Thanks for the advice guys!

changes from 98 to 99 include mostly cosmetic stuff like different seat fabric, a "prelude" badge on the front grille, and a slightly different stock stereo.
