My buddy asked me to ask about the parts needed for this swap

If anyone has done this before please reply with what is needed

or any problems

 

you will need the following parts:

B series MMK
cable to hydro conversion(if true type r)
Hasport vtec harness
pre obd b series dizzy
pre obd b series injectors or change clips( may have different impedance)
b series cable VSS( type r is elec. I believe)
maybe more but that is a start

 

Why go to all the trouble of doing a hydro conversion but not an OBD-I conversion?

Use the Type R distributor
pick up an OBD-I P28 and have it chipped
pick up an obd-o to obd-I conversion harness

 

type r is obd II not obd I so p28 might not work you would then have to get obd I dizzy, injectors ect for obd I when a type R is obd II.

My car is a gsr, but yu should get the idea of whats needed. You should go obd1 (if smog is not a issue, CA it is). Check my sig. for details.
