I dunno about 7 years but the 00-01 have the 100k warranty on it. Id say just take it to the dealer and get a new one.

The common problem with the auto V6 Accords has been with 2nd gear not getting the right amount of fluid and your code said 2nd gear so Honda should have no problem straightening this out for you.
Hondas and automatic transmissions = no bueno
The "new" 5spd autos for V6's that took place of the 4spd autos have recalls on them.
They include 03+ accord v6's, 03+ pilots, and 03+ odysseys. The odysseys might have been from 02 but i know for sure that 03+.
Even some of the older automatic tranmissions have "warranty extensions" from honda.
Thats why i drive a 5spd (manual).

That's only true for the last 2 model years. Before that they didn't have that problem.
