ok so i have a d15b and a p08 ecu what else do i need to have to install into my 89crx si?

 

hey im doing the same swap as you im having trouble with the wiring thats bout it your gonna need a obd0-obd1 jumper harness with that p08 ecu
and on the d15b engine take off the the metal bracket that holds the engine mount on the engine only have to change one its near the timing belt cover on the drivers side replace it with your stock crx piece and then it will bolt right in! well at least it did for me thats bout all the help i can offer for now as im in the same boat my engine is in but tryin to wire up vtec and injectors

 

What distributor are you using? I used the D15B distributor. So all we did was match the colors up on the wiring harness and on the distributor. We also had to rewire the wires near the resistor box.

 

1: buy a obd0 to 0bd1 jumper from blown90hatch on h-t.com
2: take your old **** out the engine bay.
3: mate a cable tranny /clutch combo to the D15B
4: driver side mount has to be an EF one... No EG/Ek will fit there
5: if your are DPFI--- convert the bitch to MPfi
6: Install Engine in
7: tips... if your EF frame was an automatic... search a bit near the rear crossmember you will have to moove the rear mount a bit to the Right. Treaded holes are present there.
8: wire up the engine with the jumper from blown90Hatch (great quality,affordable stuff)
9:take a beer, while doing this only get thing's better.
10: if you are not drunk... take a ride.
