im running a b20vtec 12.5:1 compression on stock rods... listen to people that have done the swap not just read & heard about it.

1. changing rods not needed for a mild n/a (key word) engine build just shot peene rods and get apr rod bolts (which i dont have), but turbo is a different story you will need the stronger aftermarket rods/ rod bolts because of the, in short words "boost"
2.which head you buy doesnt really matter the only real difference that you can't do anything, with out a deep pocket about is the heads combustion chamber shape / volume
3. ecu is gonig to be an obd specific vtec ecu your going to have to run a knock, vtec oil and vtec solinoid wires
4. other then normal external vtec oil pressure line, ls/ b20 vtec dowel pins or drill head larger, and going to need to plug the heads old oil sending passage

I'm pretty sure that if you use a GSR head you will get higher compression than if you were to use the B16 head (which I have generally hear flows a little better).
