i was wondering if any one knew of any sites i could find out about the recalls on my accord.. mabee i can have some stuff fixed dor free? and any info if any one knows how it works... thanks

When you get to the "component" step, click the box for all recalls.

This site only catches safety recalls, there are also other things though I can't remember their name. For example, on my '99 Accord, there was a recent notice that I needed to go get my air-bleed screw in the throttle body adjusted since some of the cars were apparently failing California emmissions tests, or something like that. Anyway, this doesn't show up on the above site. Your best bet would be to call a Honda dealership with your VIN and ask them if there are any outstanding recalls.

By the way, I spent about a week in Tulsa last month visiting my sister (near 30th and Lewis). Nice town, I especially liked the zoo (I've got a couple small kids, was looking for some place to take them).

run a search for "recall" or "recalls" (can't remember which one) in the archives. You will find some sites in there. I know because I've found them before, you might have to read through the threads to find them though.
