Default Do I need a restrictor for my feed line?

I was wondering if I need some sort of restrictor on the feedline to the turbo because I was reading a thread on HMT and it said 65-70psi can blow oil through the turbo seals, and I know ive hit that pressure when I was NA. I have a cheapturbolines.com kit, and an innovative gt61s. If i were to go to a full race t3/67 would the feed and return fittings work? thanks

You don't need one, just don't run an excessive sized feed line. Use a -3an and you should be fine. A restrictor won't hurt, but its not needed.

Well, that is a little hard to say.

You can get away with a -3AN feed line IF you have a flawless drain line. If you have a drain line that is smaller than you would like, it is a good idea to use a restrictor.

Even better, I have seen a lot of people running variable restrictors... That way you can dial in the perfect amount of oil.

-10AN should be ample... I only use -8AN because that is the largest fitting I could get for the turbo.

The "restrictor" I use is nothing more than an allen-head pipe plug with a 1mm hole drilled through it, and threaded into my take-off fitting before the NPT-AN adapter.

You know, when I first read the entire thread, I thought you was talking about putting some resistors on the feed line .

Reading comprehension owns me
