no tail lights or dash lights, help need fixed by sunday morning.
My 93 prelude lights were working fine but one morning the dash lights were not working. I didnt think a lot about it untill I noticed I didnt have running lights. I am thinking it is the light switch not the dimmer switch becuase I don't think the tailights run through it. I have an accord manual for 90-93 but the picture it show to check continuity on the switch is different connecter than what I have. Any other ideas.
I wish it was the case, but I have checked all the fuses and they are good. The turn signal works, the high beams, and the low beams work. The running lights dont though. I dont need parking lights so I am going to try jumper it around If I can figure out the right wires.
thanks for the idea though,

i had the same prob in my fifth gen but worse ... i hope u know there are two fuse boxes ... and dont assume that corresponding the name on top of the box is going to be the fuse that is blown ... just check all of them or atleast the ones in the helms... or if u find one that is blown the possibilty of blowing a fuse of the same amp. is higher ... check that ... if not honda's bitch *** will charge 92 dollars an hour to check it out ... hope this helps ... pece
Have you recently installed a new cd player? This happened to me in my fifth gen. once, one of my friends didnt know what to do with one wire and he said well it works, then a few days later my fuse lights and break lights went out, It is a fuse and as foshiz said honda will rape you atleast 80.00 on this.

i did some electrical work and that night, i turned my lights on, and none of the dash lights worked, the headlights worked, the signals worked, but the tail lights and brake lights did not, i didnt just blow a fuse, i blew the whole box...nice ding in the wallet if that's the case. go to a garage have an estimate done for the price, then they'll tell you the problem, you say thanks, leave never go back fix it yourself if you can...
