NSX w/ Nuts
It's been mentioned briefly before but here are actual pics and a small description of the Factor X engineered turbo:
Nothing too audacious

Interior signs of forced inducto engine bliss

Underneath the hatch

Other side

Aftercooler

Aftercooler resevior

Wastegate

Where the spare tire was

Close up

Dual exhaust. Nothing out of the ordinary to suggest the speed potential of this NSX. Nice.

BBK to haul the car down from speed

Rear

For those interested, the car makes around 550rwhp and 400lb of torque at the wheels using an AEM EMS. From the owner who is one of the nicest guys in the NSX community, "The radiator is larger than large. Turbo is water cooled. Oil cooler inside left quarter panel duct. Critical functions have alarms. AFR is monitored via an AEM UEGO, and of course the engine is controlled by an AEM EMS. At 9lbs of boost the car generates 500rwhp, which is far less boost required than most other FI systems, which keeps the temps down. Then we have the internal build; Wiseco low-comp pistons, SS valves, everything coated, etc. The tranny was cryo treated and given a blue print build. Given what was done with the car, I feel as confident in tracking it than with anything else long of NA."
More to come, vid and sound clips? Only by demand though...

he is making so much power on low boost because that turbo is huge. His low end must drag with low comp pistons...and boost lag like crazy. Non the less very nice car...Im just sceptical about 500rwhp on 9psi.

The low comp pistons are not as low as most people would think, also the turbo lag that you refer toa is almost non existant as the boost builds early(ask the owner) . The turbo was sized for the daily driver application. As for the skepticizm on such high numbers for such low amounts of boost... this has been discussed thoroughly on NSX prime... do a search. Amazing what increased VE and properly sized turbo's can do for power.
