h23 rods
im planing to put turbo on my lude (h23). I got the je pistons, but im having trouble finding the rods. anyone knows what kind of rods should i go with and where i can find them? any help would be appriciated very much.
I've heard of a few others, but the only ones I have heard of or seen someone use are the Crower billets. They're like $800 a set!
Stock rods aren't that bad, though, for most builds. If you need them stronger, then have them cryo'd and shotpeened.

I am using a set of the IB h23a rods on DeckedLude95's motor and I have to say they lack the quality that the crowers have. For an extra few hundred bucks you could have one of the top notch rods on the market. As far as how much power the IB's can take, I have no clue since this will be the first one I have ever used on a build.... every other built h23a I have done uses the crower billets.
The 4340 Crower Billet's are the only available rods other then that out there for the h23a motor.
I have a set on the shelf right now if you are interested in purchasing the set. I cannot post prices due to certain reasons.... the main being that they are one of the lowest prices you'll find on them. After this set is sold, they will go back on backorder for about 4-6 weeks.
