I just got my h22 and its banged up to ****. The oil pan is all dented, the distributor cap is broken, the air temperature sensor is broken, the throttle position sensor is broken( i can't buy this on its own i need a new damned throttle body thats like $550 from honda) and its missing a motor mount. I am not gonna bad mouth who i got it from yet because he says he is gonna figure it all out. Its fucked up though i paid all sorts of money for a piece of ****.

 

man! you gotta tell us who you got it from and whether or not it gets fixed, its alot of money to spend, it would really help the rest of us who are going to be buying swaps.

i am not gonna bad mouth him yet but i would recommend jdm.com my friend got an h22 for $2600 shipped and its nice not really anything wrong with it just needed alittle cleaning.

 

You dont have to bad mouth him, just make us aware of who sent u a bad motor and had to fix it. You would be helping other accord owners.

 

Sorry to hear about that man. That really sucks. If they do not fix it, I would try calling some other salvage yards to see if you can get a new TB. Buying a new one from Honda is just too expensive. Good Luck.
