i have a question, ive been told but im not sure, but if i have the 5th generation accord, the F22 non-vtec, and i have the AEM CAI...

if i were to swap in the H22 motor, could i still use my CAI? or would i have to switch it out for one thats made for the prelude?

Yes. It will work. The diameter is not the best for H22, but it will fit and work fine.

thanks for the heads up, but please give me a little more detail on the fit etc...

is it detrimental to the air being channeled into the combustion chamber?

Should be fine. I don't know that the prelude CAI mounts up in any stock locations, and I certainly would not have it bouncing around in there without a mount. I suppose if you are willing to drill and cut you can get the prelude piping to fit through the resonator hole, and then put in another hole for the mount location. I would just stick with what you have, or buy an ebay short ram intake for preludes and put that in with AEM badges for smog.
