i Combined the threads, JDM h22a Swap(manual) into 92 Automatic Prelude S.
I have done the research i Just want to get more, I found somethings but it doesnt clarify things that i am trying to figure out. First off, i want to figure out what kind of troubles people had installing the Clutch, Break, and Gas pedals. I need to find out what all is involved in it. Mounting the shifter, Is it basically direct hook up when you have everything out of the way(motor wise). The ecu, the engine i am looking at(JDM h22a) it comes with it, will i just replace the one in the car and that solves most of the problems from converting from auto to manual. Any input of what i might not be looking at, any thing i might be forgetting that is a royal pain. Thanks, and sorry for posting all the threads about basically the same thing.
go on preludeonline.com there are guides on how todo this.....im in the process of doing a h22a + mt conversion on my 93 si AT ive got all the parts from a donor car ...Tranny, all Pedal Assembly, clutch and slave master cylinders, Hydrolic line, Damperner, and a bunch of other little stuff like VSS and plugs for 4th gens the actually 5spd swap is suppose to be complete bolt on just a matter of finding a mt lude to get the parts from its the best way .. and the shifter cable really isn't much just 2 cables that run right underneath a heat shield right to the tranny
