Default slave cylinder/clutch release fork question

ok, I was tearing my motor apart tonight and I have to
disconnect the slave cylinder from the clutch release fork
and there is a round shaped piece of plastic on the fork
on the oppisite side of the slave clyinder. I didn't see anyway
to get this piece off to seperate the two pieces. There
obviously is a way though. Do any of you know the trick
to get that **** off.

TIA, Chris

Never seen anything like that on my 98, or a 92 I swapped a JDM engine into. Of all the Prelude's I've worked on, all of them had solid metal clutch forks, never any plastic pieces in the fork.

Take a look at the slave cylinder on the right,
towards the bottom you will see the clutch release fork.

Well you see that round thing at the end of the fork,
that's what i'm talking about.

Are you saying that the slave cylinder will not come apart from the fork?

well when you disconnect the slave cylinder the push rod just come s with it, the push rod just sits in that divit, i think im answering your question.. but try not to rip the little booty thing off of the slave cylinder or your gonna get some grease and goo everythwere , and then the little push rod will fall out,

you changed your avatar who is that?
