This will be my first time at the strip, I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for me for what to expect with launching, timing and so on
Will I have more grip at the strip? I was planning on lowering my tire pressure to 26psi, I have es100s right now so i'll have decent traction right?
I have also heard it is best to launch at the last yellow light? Thus yielding lower reaction times?
Feather or drop the clutch?
ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Uh yep gonna be an ***. I say skip the strip and go to the track for some turns. You want to drag get a RWD car. Just my opinion.

launching - just experiment. see which one works for you. last time i went i think i was launching around 3k.
lowering tire temp - something i haven't tried, but will if i ever get back to the strip.
yellow light - unless it is bracket racing the yellow light/reaction time doesnt mean squat. it's the 60' you should be worried about.
feather vs. dropping clutch - i feather it.
oh yeah and wear pants

dont worry about reaction time. once it turns green launch when u feel ready. also wear pants, sleeved shirt.
make sure you burn those ES100's real good and run them anywhere from 18-20psi and launch around 4.5-5k that should net you some nice 60ft time
I'm telling you this from experinece

Wurd, I usually start at 24psi and keep dropping until my trap
speeds drop. I usually feather the clutch but not too slow or
you will burn it up and decrease the life of the clutch.
With a little practice, you'll be able to leave at the third light
and have pretty solid reaction times. Just get the feel of your car
and launch it the best rpm's you feel comfortable with
