No, you need a usdm ecu, intake manifold (could be Skunk2), and exhaust manifold. Full obd1 changeover is needed, obd1 injectors, and 4 wire o2.
Then you need to visit a smog ref for your sticker.

there are alot of wrecking yard who carry b serries motors in south cali, you can find alot of parts you need if you were in SD, ask anyone for an arab guy named ali, he hooks everyone up you just got to bargain with him and a little bit of bullshiting wouldnt hurt eigther. as far as the ref, i tried that before when i had my gsr in my eg hatchback. of course i didnt pass but now imma try it again with my crx with the same drop amd clean it out a little. maybe try that dual cat thing if the ref would allow it. but good luck

No. I just got back from the smog ref at evergreen. Cali guys go there m,w,f for the guy who knows his ****. Passed all of visual with all oem jdm equipment except, jg headers, 99-00si intake. He also failed me for the p30 ecu...apparantly their information is wrong because it says a obd1 b16a should use a p28 ecu.
Oh well I went to honda and sorted that out. Now I just need to pass the sniffer.
And the ref will not allow two cats. He checks.

OK, but 9 times out of 10 they need a us spec IM. You cant use a b16a exhaust mani because of the holes for the o2's. But thats if they even notice. I am just stating what is legal/illegal, it will varry on your REF. Sometimes you will get hooked up like Wes V did, they didnt even check his ecu. But you should go into it assuming the worst.

so could i keep the wire harness off of a jdm b16 or do i have to get a usdm one? also could i find usdm b16 electronics in a junk yard or no?
Use the harness that matches the car. What do you mean by electronics? Like the vtec wires? You can source those from the jdm harness.
use the wire harness from a a crx or the motor the car came out of (del sol) cuz i didnt think that a crx wire harness would fit a vtec motor. thanx for the replies all
You can either use the harness from a del sol or you can modify the stock crx harness for vtec and use a conversion harness. If I'm wrong someone correct me.

Always use the harness that was on the car and modify that. Trust me on this.
