Accord Recall?
A few weeks ago I took my 03 Accord to get the 3000 miles service (oil/filter change), and also to check on some strange shutter and cracking sound when I shift my car from reverse to drive. I posted this quirk on this forum a couple of months or so ago and people suggested that I get it checked out while it's still under warranty. After being serviced, the service rep told me that there was a pretty recent recall on Accord transmission. So they inspected my transmission and installed 'oil jet kit'. I don't know cars very well, so I don't know what that mean.
My question is this, has anyone else received notice of the recall and took their Accord in for a checkup? Just wondering how serious this recall is.

If it's like mine, not enough transmission fluid is is rising in second gear. They install a squirter to actually jet transmission fluid so that it is guaranteed to be adequately lubricated
I'm on my second tranny and they put one on it and it's going fine now

Ah ok. Thanks for your answer. The receipt that I got from the Honda dealer that did this service actually mentioned something about 2nd gear too. But I was too preoccupied to ask them what that mean when I picked up the car.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I have few Qs, cuz i have similar things on my "V6 2001 Accord"
Does this sound appear all the time, or only when the car crossed distance? and it is only sound or the whole CAR shakes?

The sound and the slight jolt occur a few seconds after I press the gas pedal after I shift from reverse to D gear. I noticed this most often when I parked my car for a while (over 8 hours or so). Although recently, I've been noticing the sound and jolt even when the car hasn't parked for very long.

The quirky sound and jolt seems to occur in a very specific circumstance. The sound AND slight jolt/vibration occur a few seconds after I pressed the gas pedal immediately after I switch from reverse to drive. Before I noticed this problem only when car has been parked for a while (at least half a day or so). But recently I've been noticing it even when the car hasn't been parked for very long.
It's the sound and the slight jolt throughout the car. Although jolt is very minor and only sound sometimes could be loud.

Ive been installing too many of those damn jet kits. Accords, Oddysses and Pilots.
Here's what can happen "under certain driving conditions":

have 03' v-6, when mine is first started, and you put the car in drive, right before it shifts into 1st, mine makes a sometimes loud click or pop, right before the shift
and it will be fine, until i let it sit, then it will do again. also i was told the rear motor mount is vacumm actuated?
