Default A Question for All Slammed 4th Gens

Anyone who has dropped their car 2" or more...would a camber kit be necessary or can it actually handle it with just an alignment?

I was told anything over an 1.5" drop needs a camber kit, but don't quote me on it. I have 1.5" and didn't need one.

yeah, you gonna need a camber kit. had a friend with a civic had his car dropped 2.5 inches. he insisted that he didnt need a camber kit and that his tires ewrent wearing. bout 3 months later, both front tires blew because they were worn to the steel threads on the inside. you cant see it, unless you jack the car up. i had my car slamme 4 inches, and even with the ingalls, i wa sgetting some tread wear on the insides of the front tires. it is cheaper sepnding 140 for the cambers, than 180 every 3 months
