Q? why do you lose your power steering with the k20 swap

Default Q? why do you lose your power steering with the k20 swap

can anyone answer this question. i also read that you lose your a/c? why do you lose these things?, is it cos they just dont fit?

well your hood closes on the ps pump and all and unless you want to cut out a square in your hood for the pump to stick out of.

yeah its all about the fitment. AND most people agree that PS and AC are a waste anyways and arent needed. it just makes the swap that much easier.

you dont have to lose it. you can customize brackets and hoses for them to fit but it isnt a strait forward direct swap.

For power steering you need to modify the hood for clearance. A bump of some sort would need to be molded in and you sould need to make some hoses.

Custom hoses could be made for AC. There are some issues with the condensor fan too, but nothing insurmountable.
