Well about 2 mthns ago, I asked what everyone thought wheel would look good on my car and here is the results of that poll. Si or Spoom?







Here is the comparison..

 

Nice ride, man. I think I like the Si wheels better. Maybe its just the pictures but the Spoon wheels dont show up as well. Either way looks good though

 

Yeah, the pics just dont justify how nice the spooms look on it. I am going to get a CF hood and see how it looks then.

 

Very nice car IMO keep the spoons on they look sweet on your car

marked is on subzeros, from what i remember. i like the Spooms, and with the C/f hood it'll add to the car and help break up the yellow a lil bit.

 

...yeah, genmetal subzero's... I like em b/c of the 45 offset...


(I got my engine started by the way. my stupid *** forgot the thermostat ground and that was the problem w/ the injectors )

Spoons (Rotas?) without a doubt.

Just incase you have an unlimited wheel budget I'd like to suggest flat black SE37-Ks. Very nice car, BTW.

I kinda like the SI's but the rotas are nice to or are they the real spoons I like the white regamasters if i could afford them.

 

are those rotas or spoons? what color are they gunmetal or flatblack? they look kinda shiny

 

These wheels are Rotas in flat black. They had just had some Nitto drags mounted on them, so they are still alittle wet.

 

well i would get a combo of both....


just powdercoat the Si rims flat black..... so you have the flat black color of the rota's and the style of the Si...

 

I like the Rotas, and if you put a carbon fiber hood on there you will have one sweet looking ride

 

go with the rota's, they look much more aggressive and if you get that carbon fiber hood a lont with it, it will be one mean *****

 

Looks good J, I'm plannin to do the same scheme but my car will be white. I think the black rims puts the nail in the coffin for killer looks. It'll look even better with the CF hood.

 

I didnt read the part about the cf hood, in that case I change my vote to the Rotas. Besides they probably show up better than on the pics.

 

i say the spooms, btw can someone photoshop his hatch color to black, i've been eyeing the slips but duno how it would look on a black ef w/ the ww kit, TIA

Oh man I'm not really sure. I think with the bodykit the si rims look good BUT on the other hand ARRRRGGGGGHHHH I can't decide. Maybe si rims on one side and the rotas on the other? Nevermind.

 

nice, but I think I am going to get bronze rota C8's, does anyone have a picture of those on a EF hatch.

id go with the si wheels and the stock hood

the yellow at least in the pics is kinda creamy looking (like the new beetle yellow) i dont think it looks very good with black wheels and definately not with cf hood. thats just me though. si wheels look clean though. is that the only picture you have with them?? oh and put some kind of grill in your front bumper thats lookin kinda ghetto
