all the parts for h22 swap
ive been searching this sight and ive found that i should probably swap my accord engine to an h22. on the jdm site u can get wat i think is the whole setup for $2695.95 plus shipping. Do u know if this package comes with all of the things needed to swap it into a 96 accord ex 4 cylinder? if it doesnt wat else would i need to make the swap happen? are there any other places that would sell a complete setup for cheaper? any help will be appreciated
Check http://www.hmotorsonline.com. They have the H22 complete changeover for $2199 plus shipping. A lot of guys have bought motors from there and they seem to be pretty reputable.

You need to convert your car to accept the obd1 ecu in order for the motor to work correctly with the H22A motor. The conversion harness are cheap (about 75 dollars). Then it is just plug and play, besides the a6 and a11 pin. If you car is non-vtec, you will also need to wire for vtec.

so since my car would be obd2 i could work this perticular engine package. all i would have to do was get an obd1 conversion harness and pins a6 and a11?

I think you should do a little more research before attempting something like a swap
Search on this site and you'll learn a lot

Ok - If you are serious enough about purchasing a JDM H22 engine - I suggest and highly recommend you replace the following parts on the motor:
Timing belt/balance shaft belt
Water Pump
Clutch and pressure plate
Flywheel - have it resrufaced or buy a lightweight one
Oil pan gasket
Valve cover gasket set
Cap and rotor (JDM engines are internal coil - you'll need a cap from a 92'-95 civic non-vtec)
Replace your fuel filter (it not already done - alot easier w/ engine out of car on Accords)
Do any engine upgrades w/ motor out of car (like cams, cam gears, valvetrain, etc....)
AEM CAI (H22's use a 3" v. 2.5" for Accord's F22)
Purchase a quality header (if swap doesn't come w/ one) such as Greddy
Spark plug wires & plugs
Pcv valve
I'm sure some other little stuff is missing but this list covers the MAJOR parts that need to be changed.

By pins we mean the "a" connector needs to have pins a6 and a11 swapped in order for all sensors to function properly and allow you to start the motor and keep it runnin' - pretty simple.
So I'm little confused on which post mount to use I'm doing h22a with f series trans into a 98 sedan already got innovative mounts and a 92-96 prelude t bracket but not sure what to use do I use h22 oem post mount or use my em1 post mount or is there a specific h22 ek.swap post mount and help be great
