Default Compression test on my LS *weird numbers*

i just went to a friends house to get my compression test done on my ls motor finally. well on my way there i was thinking i would get pretty low numbers. so we get started by removing my spark plugs and disconnect my ignition system.

#1 cylinder - 200 psi
#2 cylinder - 195 psi
#3 cylinder - 197 psi
#4 cylinder - 210 psi

im not sure why the number came out so well. the motor has about 187,XXX miles and it has stock pistons and everything else...carbon buildup maybe?? oh wells im happy

ok?

they seem pretty good for a motor with those miles....you usually want them within 5-10 psi of each other, but i wouldn't worry

nice numbers... Probably due to some carbon buildup too.

Those compression numbers are good. I blew the rings in my ls/v and i ran a 120/70/55/210. That is on 63k.

for some odd reason many of the honda motors i do compression tests on seem to always have higher compression in cylinder 4 just as you have. my motor is the same way...
