aftermarket springs and stock shocks a good idea?
i have H&R springs and stock shocks and like how it rides. but is it bad for my suspension with this kind of set up? what should i do, suggestions, please let me know thanks.
your shocks will probally eventually blow
there not ment for shorter springs
If you want something decently cheap and close to stock ride Id say go with some tockico blues

H&R sports are 1.5 in rear and 1.75 in front for a DC2
I have the same springs and I bought new shocks. Just didn't wanna risk anything.. plus the are adjustable
I got KYB AGX, but anything lower than 2" you should find something else.

Tokico HP's (blue) won't stand up to much of any drop, and neither will the KYB GR-2's.
H&R Sports lowered my Integra almost 3".
Man I was sure glad to get rid of those.

Sport springs, the dark metallic blue ones, only 276 lbs/in yet low as hellllll.
This is how it sat w/ those springs:

how is there such a diff on such similar cars? </TD></TR></TABLE>
Dunno, yours looks almost as low as mine. My front Konis were on the stock perch height so I know that would not have made any difference. With the rear Konis on the stock perch it sat higher in back, so I had the rear Konis on the lower perch to help even it out, which does make mine sit a bit lower in back than yours.
However I measured my front ride height while parked right next to a stock Integra, the difference was nearly 3" (center of wheel to fender edge, in order to disregard any tire size differences). I also measured the overall height of my car and found it to be about 3" lower than the spec shown in my Helm's manual.

As already stated above, eventually stock shocks will blow out.
I currently have GC coils/Tokico Illuminas. I'm not sure how much drop I got it set at currently, but it rides Firm and does not bottom out.
