Knock sensor removal and replacement?? what size socket is it.. and how should i attempt to put it

Default Knock sensor removal and replacement?? what size socket is it.. and how should i attempt to put it

just what the title says... knock sensor removal and install... what to use and how to!?

I believe you need a deep socket 27mm. The knock sensor is just like a bolt. You just unthread it off and then thread the new one in. I'm not to sure of the torque specs of it though. I hope that helps.

Mine (b16a 1st gen) was a 27mm deep socket, however the s2000 one that I tried to replace it with was smaller.

No specific torque spec just hand tight.
