But does it ruin your car in any other way besides tire wear?

What about the type SH, does that get effected?

What are good springs and shocks to get?

if you drop it too far or uneven you will get an atts code. other wise it will be just fine. i would not reccommend slamming it. just do about a 2.5 inch drop at most. the eibach prokit drops it 1.5".

definitely get springs that were made for your car. i dont recommend modifying your stock springs because they were designed to handle your car's load as they are. i have a 97 prelude and i have neuspeed springs. the uneven tire wear is not very noticable. something like this (http://www.namotorsports.net/d...20.23 ) will give you the look youre after and give you a stock ride quality.

its a code given to the computer because of an error in the atts system on a prelude SH. its the special traction system incorporated into the SH model only.

make sure you get a full alignment which includes: degree adjustment and the toe in/out. These are usually overlooked. Just make sure you get that checked also.

I have Tein S-Tech springs on my 97SH and i love them. They dropped my car 1.5" in the front and 1.3" in the back. But remember they do settle overtime and that your car will drop a little bit more.

IMO: 2.5" is way too low for the "SH" model and could trigger the ATTS CEL, but if you want to lower that car that much go for it. Itll be slammed to the floor after a few months due to the settling.

Good Luck

decide what springs/drop you want. Install them, then go get an alignment too see if you need a camber kit. If so, it will also tell you what degree of adjustment you need.

I got the s-techs also but IMO i don't think alignment is necessary with a 1.3-1.5'' drop. Wouldn't you notice your alignment is bad anyways when you are driving and your car steers to one side when you let go of the steering wheel?

My tires have not shown any unusual wearing for about 6 months now so i think it's all right

its the toe in/ toe out part that alot of people do not realize that causes uneven tirewear also.

thats what the this tire shop told me. Even though the tire is aligned, it could still cause premature tire wear from the toe in, and out.
