is it easy to replace the ac compressor? should i buy a helms manual and install it myself or have the body shop do it for me which will be $150. any suggestion? plz~

 

ac compressor is a fairly simple job.. depending on the car, it usually involves removing the power steering pump if equipped.. and sometimes removing the ac/alternator belt tensioner.. just don't bang the compressor into the radiator/condensor during installation...
