Need Help with door alignment
The driver side door on my car seems to be misaligned.
I was taking a look at my helms manual and it showed how to adjust the latch.
Proceded to adjust the latch and it made it so the top of the door was not flush with the rear fender yet the bottom was. I adjusted it back and the opposite happens. It really causes problems becuase the door ajar light always comes on because the bottom of the door is not fitting close enough to the sensor.
Anyways just wondering if anyone has had any problems with this in the past and good lend me some advice on how to fix it.
I was thinking that it may be a good idea to take it to a body shop and see what they say or could do.
Hopefully the door or worse the frame itself is not bent....
Thanks,
Adam
P.S : To my knowledge the car has never been in an accident.
