ITR seats into a 95 GSR..
Hey, I was just wondering if anyone here has put any 99 or up type R seats into a 95 integra. I was thinking that they should bolt right in, but when I bought the seats, only 3 of the 4 will bolt up. I need to find a longer bolt for the middle front ones. Were the rails switched on me, or is the ITR a little different? I bought them from someone with an EK civic, and all 4 bolted right in for his car. He said that he just bought them from his friend like that.
Yup, you are talking about Stock USDM ITR seats right? the Black Suede w/ red stitch?
Not the JDM recaros right?
yeah, the guy probably switched the bottom rails with his stock EK ones. which is why only three of your bolts bolt in.
BTW, I was running US ITR seats in my 96GSR before, and they fit perfectly, just like the stock seats, I don't think it should be any different with yours.
The Guy switched the Rails on you, in any case, just switch them back with your stock seats they they should fit like a Glove.

I called the guy who I bought the seats from and he said that he took them right out of his friend 99 type R and put them in his EK. I guess I'll have to switch the rails from my GSR seats and put them on the ITR seats.. I looked at where the bolts are and the distance between some of the bolts are different. Is it a for sure thing that the EK rails can switch with 95 GSR (i guess DC2) rails? Thanks for the info!

If they are straight out of a type R, they should bolt straight in. Seat bolt locations were the same throughout 94-01 across all model Integras. If yours don't bolt up, then that means they would not bolt into a type R, either, which means something has been changed.

Mine were simple to install.
The driver's bolted right in, but the passenger side needed one corner modified. I had to weld a stud slightly to the left of the threaded hole. It worked perfectly. Of course, the alternative is to run 3 fasteners instead of 4.
I took my ITR seats out about 15 minutes ago.

Yea, that is an alternative... but if I could just sell these seats then I might.. and I'll pick up some type R seats that will allow me to use all 4 bolts...
unless it's easy to switch rails.. anyone ever swapped EK and DC2 rails before?
