has anyone done this...turbo manifold without turbo...yet
the reason i ask is i am building the block first then after the money comes will add the turbo...but i was wondering what if i just went ahead and bought a turbo manifold since i have to get a mani anyways...and put a flange on the ehaust that mated up to the turbo mani. im sure it wouldnt be ideal for power but it would save alot of money.
nah man, if i were you i'd just by the turbo manifold, and store it, until you get all the parts needed... that way you can do it all at once... i would think it would be safer and best that way.
no need to ask
if you got money buy a spare header
if you dont just wait and buy everything at once
not much tech involved

i took a old turbine housing and welded a center cartridge to it and welded the shaft hole up. i made this for a emergency standby if had to take the turbo off. i can also use it to set up/make downpipes.
