I dont know, but maybe its just me. I recently got my a Integra about a month ago and i just started driving it the last 3 weeks. I had an accord, even though the accord cost a lil more to fill up than the integra. It feels like the integra burns more gas than the accord. I thought the Integra gets better gas mileage. I know the integra is light and is a dohc and the accord was a single vtec and they both put out about the same amount of power so is it me or does the integra really burn more gas than the accord?

 

youre just imagining it! i went from an accord to an integra also and thought i had a gas leak bc it seemed like i was going thru more gas in the teg! i guess its just cuz the teg tank is a lot smaller

 

its just seems like i burn a full tank in 2 days, true i drive about 100 and so miles a day but my accord never went down like that. O well.

 

It was the other way for me. I had a civic and got about 24mpg city, when I got my GS-R i've been getting 28 or so...

 

next time you fill up, check your mpg....thats when i realized i was just imagining it bc i was getting like 32 mpg!

i just bought my teg a few weeks ago and it seems that the teg eats up a lot of gas. around 220 miles per tank local driving.

i get that much in my old 86 civic hatch.
