I was driving down rt 9 today by wappingers/poughkeepsie and a Black ITR with gunmetal wheels went by on a flatbed... looked like it was flipped then slid on the windshield/hood for a while. Anyone know whose it was? Or anything about the accident?

i was driving up rt 9 going to the RACE TRACK in lebanon when i saw it

are u sure this is the same car? this was awhile ago. like late spring, early summer.

 

railed in the back, slid on hood... maybe someone bought it from him up here and it was just being transported today... maybe east park honda/acura auto recycling

 

it looked as though it had been sitting somewhere for a while....

well atleast it still has good interior, wheels, passenger taillight and you know cf hoods never break

 

you think i can buy those wheels sorry to ask my uncle just got a black type r and 2 wheels are curbed badly from the previous owner and hes looking for a new set

the R interior was stolen previously as well as the turbo and motor parts, and it had a civic interior when it was crashed.

 

Hate to see another one down. At least this one didn't die in the hand of thieves (I hope!)
As these type of cars are the only way to get legit used ITR parts, I'm wondering if someone is parting it out. I/m interested in some suspension and brake components (and ABS parts)...
