I need some new bumper lights and can't decide whether or not to go with the all black jdm or all amber jdm bumper lights.

Also, what lip would look the best? I like the VIS type-s lip, but don't want to pay that much for one. Any knock offs on EBAY?

I'd worry about lowering that thing first. You can get some decent springs (eibach, H&R) for pretty cheap. JMO.

Also, I think the ITR lip is still the best looking lip for 94-97. Another guy posted his teg with a si-vtec lip, and it looked nice also.

I already have the suspension started, full omnipower coilver and camber kit. Megan rear lca's. Gonna love that suspension. Sway bar on the way.

I still haven't seen anything on ebay for that lip. Let me know if I'm just missing it or where I can get at a decent price.

Unfortunately, they're hard to come by for the 94-97 model tegs. You just have to keep looking. You can also go to comptechusa.com and get one, but it's about $250 or so.

BTW: I actually like the stock lenses.

I had the Blacked out signals on my 97 teg. they didnt look that great, so i baught the EURO clear signals and the car looks much better now. Either get the all clear signals or the all amber signals.

This is how my ride looked with the blacked out signals

This is it with the clear signals

2 things:

1) Poly Urethane lips, but it's ABS plastic???

2) 94-97 lip with a picture of a 98+?

Much better :

well neither of those are "jdm" as you say, hell they aren't even jdm "style"... and I bet you most anything you buy will fit like crap. My old clears fit horrible, so I just put the stockers back in, didn't really care about messing with them too much.

I've heard bad things about the company, but you can buy a 94-97 ITR lip from phasenine.com... its abs plastic so its not gonna crack easily and it only costs 85 dollars plus like 20 dollar shipping or something like that. I'd say its worth it.

Nah, i have no experience with rev-auto. The way I phrased it was bad. I meant I've heard bad things about phase nine but you can't beat the price. Just order 3 months before you actually intend on buying it

spend $3-4 on paint and paint those *****'s with clear orange paint. oem fit and finish if you can do it properly. still has the reflector and all DOT information on the lens. see here...
and i hear that the JDP engineering CF lips are pretty tight. jdm style sir-g/si vtec lips in cf. jdpengineering.com... btw i like the color and rims... that's how my car used to look but slammed. now i got my goldies and lovin it!

I usually hate people that answer a question with another question but I will do it this time.

What do you think is better? Answer that question, then you'll be set. It's your car, sure other people's opinions can help but there's a saying that goes like: "Opinions are like ********, everyone has one and they usually stink."

many people have painted their lenses before... it should be somewhere in the archives. but u can find the paint in any hobby shop or hardware shop. i used tamia model paint, but other people use krylon stained glass paint or something like that. good luck and enjoy.
