hey my car is currently up at the workshop and ive just got a new carbon bonnet which is waiting up there too, and i want to keep the old one so can i fit the new bonnet inthe back? , so my question is will an EG bonnet fit inthe back of a EG with seats folded down or anything???

sorry dude, im from australia and we call the hood a bonnet here. so will the new hood fit in the back of the EG so i can bring it home?

 

i believe he is talking about puttin something on the rear. if u are talkin about that , i put a 60 gallon fish tank in the back with the seats down and it fits.

no it will not fit,,, mate. you need to roll around hoodless and put the new in.

it fits on the roof no prob.!!

 

I was able to fit one in the rear of my hatch. It has no seats though. I also fit two doors and the hood at the same time in the rear.

yes it will fit open the window(rear) and lower the gate fold down the seats and load it up. watch the windows cause you can scratch them if you are not carfull

I had an Civic and Del Sol hood in the back of my 93 hatch, with the hatch and tailgate closed. Just have to put it in sideways, and have one side higher than the other.

 

Yep fits barely. Bring towels or something to pad where it contacts your interior.

I wish I had got to this thread earlier, I could have told everyone what a bonnet was. Nice mags. Clean your windscreen. I used to go on to a australian toyota site a lot.

 

my friend put a cf hood in the back of his hatch with the seats folded down, it works.

 

Easy fix mate. Just tie the old hood or bonnet as you call it to the rear tow hook and drag it home. That way you don't scratch up your interior.

 

it fits i've done it b4.....when i bought my c/f hood i had it in my hatch and also put my stock one in after i put on teh c/f(too bad it got jacked )

 

a hood fits in the back just fine.
