Exhaust Question for 97 4cyl EX
I've got a '97 4cyl EX that needs a new muffler. I'm trying to avoid an OEM or generic exhaust because they are too quiet for me (I like to hear the car when I am shifting).
I'm really hoping there is some exhaust available that is just a little bit louder than stock (tiny bit below 3000, a fair amount above 4500). I don't really want to attract any attention (with either a huge pipe or lots of noise), but it would be very cool if I could still have a little bit of life coming out the back.
Any recommendations? Oh yeah, the closer it looks to the stock twin-tip, the better. Do any of the Apex'i or Thermal R&D systems fit this bill?
Thanks!

heres what the thermal r&d looks like...

it looks A LOT like a stock 2 tipper, only a lil bigger diameter... its somewhat of a loud exhaust, but not HORRIDLY loud. if you want something close to stock sound, apexi world sport would be ur best bet... if you want something close to stock LOOKING... thermal R&D classic exhaust is perfect. and it def has the best exhaust note i have ever heard from an aftermarket import exhaust. so hell, if i were you i would get a thermal

ive got a Greddy EVO for sale. Its a little louder than Apexi and it does have a big muffler but its a great sounding exhaust, and good performance too.
