I don't know what ECU that is becuase all I am seeing for ecu's on hondata's website is just the pt3 but I am guessing that the pt6 is the one for the vtec motors. I am not exactly sure on this. What car did the pt6 come out of??

Hey whats up, ok to answer your question a PT6 ecu is from a 90-93 honda accord ex and se model, it has the a17 pin output if you were to do the dual runner manifold swap. So you can definatly use it to run your lx, I have the pt6 in my lx.

Well I figured out what happened to my stock ecu. When I was trying to get the stock chip out I broke one of the lines on the breadboard it starts underneeth the chip and runs right through two of the pin holes.Well I jumped that line with a small wire from were it starts to were it finishes, got it runing to find out its the wrong chip.Who ever sent it to me sent me a chip for some kind of v-tec motor most likely because right near 4grand it cuts out almost like a revlimiter

the h23 has a second set of runners....they are closed off until a certain rpm where then a solenoid will open the butterflys allowing for more air to enter the ole engine. atleast thats how i understand it

If it is cutting out at a certain RPM then it sounds like it is in limp mode. What were you doing when you messed up the stock ecu?

No it hits rev limiter at 3 1/5 and thats it. I was trying to get the stock chip out and scratched one of the lines on the ecu and broke it. I jumped the line and everything worked.Maybe I messed something else up or I got the wrong chip.
