Type-r strut bar onto 96 hatchback
i figure someone has done it before and i was wondering about if you had to drill the holes out. then where did you drill them out at. pictures would be nice also.
i had this on my 92 hatch but the holes where already there. they are not on my 96.

Yea you have to drill holes but dont use the dimples you have on the shock tower. I have a 97 hatch and i tried to put a type r strut bar on and the dimples did not line up. I believe 99-00 hatches have dimples that match up and the 96-98s dont. i would suggest double check to see if the dimples line up, if not youre gonna have to measure. good luck
