CEL 9. HONDATA owners
i have a CEL. its code 9 (CYP Sensor (Cylinder) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor)
anyways, i took a look at my hondata s200 blue box and i noticed one of the wires was out.

does anyone know what the orange wire relates to? or any info on it? i'm wondering if that would be the cause of the code 9.. or if thats just another one of my problems.
i would fix the wire, but that plug is tiny and its gonna be a PIA to get the wire secured back in there. i'm just being lazy right now.. so i'm just asking if anyone knows what the orange wire dictates.
TIA

The CYP sensor is located in your distributor I believe. It's been a few years, but when I had a distributor that was sparking and on it's way out..I am pretty sure it was throwing a code 9. In other words I don't think that hondata wire would cause a code 9
sometimes when im driving out of nowhere CEL comes on and i pullover and its 1-ECU... restart car and its gone.... idk, just thought id share the info for fellow hondata owners.

yes mine used to do this too, but i think it was due to loose wiring from the hondata...and now it stays on because its out.
i'll see whats going on when i'm not lazy
