What lips are available?
I'm thinking about maybe getting a lip for my car. I have a 99 ls and was wondering if there are any kinds of lips available besides a type-r lip.

hm youre the first person ive come across that doesnt like the tsunami lip. i always get the ppl with the wings west lips asking me about it cuz it looks more agressive.

yeah I hate that lip also it looks like a big pitchfork on the front just ready to stab another car from behind... but to each his own.... so don't my advice...

uhhh... Spoon never made a lip for the 98+ US frontend which never came out in Japan.
The one you see in the picture is a Copy of the "Spoon Style" that Spoon makes for the JDM DC2 front. You can tell from the link earlier that VIS makes these lips.
Don't be fooled by "Spoon Style" it is not made by Spoon.
Nevertheless it does look good on that car.

the 94-97 USDM front end is actually a JDM front end too
they didnt get the other "JDM" front end till 96.
anyhoo, i think ill stick with a type r or comptech lip.

i bought my tsunami lip from a classified, but you can find it on ebay sometimes or a couple of bodykit websites forget which ones. the sides and rear are ww. i may be selling my 98 front conversion soon tho

theres one on http://www.modacar.com that looks kinda like the RS *shrugs* but its called the TYPE-W or something for the 98-01. its 189 for just the lip. urethane.

if i'm not mistaken, the wings west "type-w" is an ITR replica, the "type-2" is a mugen replica, and the "RS" aka Racing Series lip is just a plain flat lip...

the wings west "w-typ"/type-w isnt a replica of the type-r, but similar in that it's kind of plain. the corners around the dam come to a point instead of smooth around. i just emailed them about a price. i think it's urethane too?? i forgot to ask.
