hey wassup guys? Well i just installed my Cold air like 2 weeks ago. i was wondering if the pipping should be loose when it is connected with the inatke manifold?? it is like loose a little. and i don't really know if the intake is sucking in air.... how would i know if it works or not??

Please help me out with this problem.

Its ok if the piping is a little loose, dont give it much thought. When you start your car, you hear that SHHHHHhhhHhhhhHHh noise? Thats the intake sucking in air.

 

Itt should not be loose where it connects becuse then ur intake will not work as well. If its loose then you may get an air leak which will rob you of the little horsepower you get from intake.

 

if the intake does not come with clamps already then go to homedepot or pepboys and buy some clamps to place on the throttle body and anywhere else where the intake might come loose.

 

Just use the stock clamps from the stock intake.
