new to forum and need some help with a f22.
whats up everyone- just got a 90 lx accord for a good price, but it needs a timing belt. the body is pretty straight and clean, no big blemishes and the interior is pretty nice for a 14 year old car. now with the timing belt, i have researched a bit and found on the f22 motor there are 2 belts a counter balance belt as well as a timing belt. im going to open up the motor this weekend so i guess im asking for advice, and and tips from anyone that has done this job before. im new to hondas but very mechanically inclinded. thanks in advance..
there should be alot of timing belt post in accord forum..
4cylinder timing beltin change should be very str8 forward.
dont forget to swap out the water pump and gasket while you at it.
my dad's maxima is leaking water all over the place because the water pump gasket was shot, should've do the water pump when the timing belt is off.
