Tinter can not tint upper portion of my hatch...
My tinter couldn't get the tint to stick to the upper portion of my hatch. So the F*cking dumbass tried to sand the little dots down and scratched it all up. The tint now sticks, but i can still see the scratches. I have heard of people painting that whole portion black. Have any of you guys done this? And if you have what kind of paint did you use? Thanks.
My tint is all must up on the rear hatch because of the bubble stuff. I never heard of the Vinyl idea. Sounds good.

I thought about that....you're talking about the vinyl stickers right? I really would rather not put that on my car. I might as well have it say "POWERED BY HONDA" or something gay like that.
i had a shop put a piece of black vinyl on the inside of my window were the dots are. they did a great job. it doesn't get in the way off your eyes and it matches the trim that goes around the window

The same thing happened with my "dots." I am going to try a heat gun/blow dryer, to see if I can't shrink the tint film into the crevices. Maybe if you did this you wouldn't be able to see the scratches as well.
I used One-shot black sign paint and painted the inside of my window. Looks sweet... NOT permanent either.....easier to remove the paint, than the tint.
na im actually tlaking about a plain black vinyl strip, i did that on my other teg because those nipples wont let the tint adhere to it
and i thought it looked like *** with only that piece missing so i covered it up with vinyl and it looked great

I'd be pissed, My tinter did an excellent job tinting my rear window, no problem tinting over the dots, it just takes time. 3 years later and its still perfect
You can remove the dots with paint thinner i believe, do a search this topic has been discussed before with a good way to remove the dots but i can't exactly remember the process but it does involve removing the dots with out any scratches
damn is it really that hard to tint the upper back window? when i get my tint done i will ask them first if they can do it cause i dont want them messing anything up or doing a ugly job.
You get what u payed for too. u see the deals with a ghetto shop installing Tint for $100 bucks any car u have to wonder about the quality. Go to a Quality shop and u will get a quality work just my $.02
i paid $100 for my tint job... great job applying the tint, the dots dont bubble or anything. However, they did leave dirty streaks on the window... no biggie tho, cant see outta the limo tint anyways. Just got it so damn cars and trucks with bright *** lights dont blind me... especially those rice rockets with HID kits...
