I know a guy who can get me a decent deal on some JDM and UKDM taillights. He sent me pics of the lights and I have a few questions about the UKDM ones.

Is the lettering raised on it?
There is a red light where the passenger side (If you are talking a LHD CRX) where the reverse lights go. What is that? Is that just a different reflector or something special that I will need a special harness for?

ah, the 88-89 crx middle garnish has the fog light next to the reverse light. hotness!

i think you can open up a the usdm one and modify it to have a bulb. there's a spot for the bulb on each side, i think.

Sounds like you are talking about the UK VTEC crx lights.
The red light on the right hand side is for a fog light. You separate the cluster with some heating and remove or switch the red part to the other side of the cluster. The UK RHD this is on the right, the LHD euro's its on the left.
The lettering is not rasied.
IIRC the wiring for the red light is the same a the reverse so you can use it how you wish really, just if you hook it to reverse you'll get a red light

The JDM SiR clusters have twin reverse lights replacing the fog on the UK one, and have raised lettering.

@Nominous: what's raised about the decals on the JDM centerpieces? Aren't those like ours... simple stickers?

 

Yeah they are stickers, but they are rasied rather than flat. Can remove them and quite likely order them from honda japan if you can figure out the part number.
