Default All Motor......

Hey guys..... Listen I need to know some things... All my friends are going forced induction and I want to be different and go all motor!!! I need to know if I can beat them, I know I'll need some spray too... But to get the point I need to know the best rods, pistons, valves, retainers, cams, and cam gears... If you got an all-motor setup let me know... I have a b16 in an HF by the way.... Just let me know...

This is just an idea for u but invest in a B20 block because u can get a whole lot of torque out of a B20/V-tec all motor setup

Should I get a b20 and another b16 head and build them both?

Wassup,
So you wanna go all motor? Well first off Good Job, **** i came to the same situation when all my friends went turbo and here i am with an all motor crx. Well first things first money, how much are you willing to spend? Second depending on the setup you can take on turbo and NOS setups and if you spray your not all motor. The best rods, pistons and valves right now would be cp high compression pistons and rings with eagal rods. Valves and valve spring and retainers i would go with SuperTech. Cams and gears, well that depends on your setup, my all motor setup would be cp pistons and rings, eagal rods, supertech valves and retainers, GSR cams and AEM cam gears. Right there is a pretty decent setup, if you wanna take on your friends cars let me know what setup they have and i can garentee you will beat them! Now i here you want to go CRV V-tec. Good choice thats is a very good investment, one you will gain more torque adding to your top end. But once again i need to know the setup of your friends to help you out with this all motor setup.

Also, In the long run you problley will lose to your friends. FI is just alot easier to do and cost alot less. Not trying to tell you to go FI,but face it.With NA you struggle for every little gain you can.FI you just up the boost and tune. B16 in a HF,you have a good start. You can always ore that baby out to a 1.8 and get some carzyPnP and you'll be half way there. Do you know what times your freinds are running? What motor and in what car? Good luck, just remember NA is more pure than FI ,
but not always faster
