How Much is My '98 Type-R Worth in Michigan?
There are not many Type-Rs in Michigan. My M3 is coming soon, so I'm wondering what my R is worth?
1998 Champ White Type-R, Dealer A/C & cassette, Bought it new, 46000 miles, no accidents of any kind, completely stock & never modified, newer summer & new all-season tires, Garage kept & in Excellent condition. * 7year/100k extended full-warranty available. Very flexible on when I need to sell it (3 months). No asking price yet...
If anyone on this board is interested, e-mail me.
Thanks, Mike.

High mileage? Dont let them fool you. I have almost 83k on my clock. Where do you get high mileage in a 4 year old car that only has 46k miles. 15k is pretty average for normal miles. Not 10,000 miles like your leasing a new lexus convertible. If I was dude I would ask at least $18,500.

Check the usual internet sites for recent asking prices.
Just for reference here in IL a dealer had a 2000 w/47k miles listed at $21k. It was only on their website for a few weeks so I'm assuming it was sold pretty quickly. If you're in no rush to sell that's definately to your advantage.

I wouldnt let go of mine for anything less than 19k. I sold my 2000 Si for 18,000 and the type R is much more of a car than the Si.

I live in San Antonio, TX where Type R's are not few. I was at my local Acura Dealer about a month ago and they had a 2001 PY with 18,000 miles. The thing had over spray all over it! It sold the next day for $23,998, sucker! It's one of those one price no hassle dealerships, no hassle for them!
