Default act clutch question

Okay, most people say that all 94+ b-series trannies are the same (excluding the internals of course). If that is the case, then why does act list clutches (such as the AI4-HDSS) seperately for the gsr/ type r and "other b-series" hydro trannies. Am I missing something here? If I put a "other b-series" clutch on a gsr or type r tranny would something get messed up; or vica versa? Thanks.

1/64" difference in the diameter of the pressure plate, disk, or something else.

They are interchangeable.

I have a friend that has the ACT clutch and pressure plate for an LS but he's running a ITR flywheel and it works fine.

All the flywheels are interchangeable... is your friend running the ACT clutch for the LS on an LS tranny?

He's asking: for example, if an LS clutch kit will fit a gsr/itr tranny or vice versa.

all b series flywheels are interchangable
all bseries pressure plates are interchangable
and there are 2 different clutch disk
big trannie spline for 92-01 (ys1/ hydro/ s80, etc)
small spline for 90-91 trannies (a1/s1/j1)
