H22A4 ?'s

Now sorry if this a any type of repost of basic lude info but I've never messed with a Lude's or H22/23 before and a friend of mine who I meet through work. Any who, he bought a H22A4 for his 4th gen S model and has never really mechanical done or knew much about his prelude or cars in general. Scary huh. Now the H22a4 is a OBD2 engine correct? Now with his car being a 92 and OBD1 but the engine OBD2 how much of a problem will he(actually me since I'm most likely doing the swap for him) have? He has the engine, tranny, ECU, wiring harness. Would it just be easier to get a OBD 1 vtec ecu and dist(do the OBD1 h22 bolt right on?), and h22 wiring harness instead of switching over to OBD2? Also is the speedo elec. or cable driven? From what I've read so far the ATTS is useless in the 4th gens and the clutch is a cable and the A4 tranny is a hydro right? From what I read in SCC is that the ATTS is inplace of the intermediate shaft so could you just get a intermediate shaft inplace of the ATTS setup and still keep the tranny? Should he just ditch the entire A4 intake manifold and get a OBD1 setup for the injectors or are they the same(not sure if there peak hold or saturated?) Whoooa. Sorry for dumping out so many questions but I told him I would help him out and his computer took a **** and I'm not the kind of person to tell him that I don't wanna help him anymore since it seemed like a pretty big swap compared to the d series SOHC engines I'm used to working on in my civic's. I'm doing the all research before I start tearing apart his car and have him buy everything he needs before hand so he won't be stuck with a car that doesn't run. God I'm too nice and too kind to say no.
OBD1 distributor (h22/h23)
OBD1 P13 ecu (92-95)
H22A1 Injectors (92-96)
Everything will plug in, probably have to run VTEC wires and secondary IAB wires since the S harness won't have. 4th and fifth gen trannies are the same type and use the same clutches.
edit: The guy bought a Type-SH H22A4? Are you sure about that? That wasn't a smart idea!

THats what I told him, but he bought the engine before I knew him. He told me it was a JDM engine and then I asked him for the engine code and the I gave him the bad news. I told him he could of save some money and headaches with the OBD1 engine.
Does he want to sell the setup? I don't need the tranny but the engine i can use.
I've got a sh and the block is being sleeved, but the crank and one of the main caps are screwed because the thrust bearing spun, so i need the engine. will he sell it?????
