Migrated from EG/Civic forum (New addition)
I've been lurking around H-T for quite a while now and always been in the EG/Civic forum, because my last car was a EH3 (fun car). I hardly ever wander into this forum untill now, now that I got myself a 4dr GSR. Just wanted to show off my new ride & I'll be seeing you Teg owners a lil more often now.
Stats:
98 GSR (family car)
stock for now minus the GC coils/Illuminas & Speedmaster's

It came with the factory alarm. Does anybody know how good this alarm is? How easy is it to yank out the factory alarm? I don't want to end up like my buddie who had to use both alarm remotes to disarm/unlock his car.

the factory alarm is a POS. any place that installs car alarms will be able to remove it.

all our civic boys are growing up......j/k

yeah factory alarms are not known to be great anti-theft devices. I would recommend a full featured Clifford alarm with dual kill switches installed by a reputable and skilled installer, along with a few other anti-theft devices.
nice teg

Either a clifford or a new brand of alarm called compustar. Two-way... it has better range than my shitty aladdin a2000. Get a fuel-pump kill switch, manual ignition kill (all hidden of course)... and you should be set.

I like it too. At first, I wasn't really into it. Then having it for a few weeks now, it's already grown on me.
Plus think of it this way, since this color isn't that popular among theives ie. due to the fact that the interior is beige/tan, It's actually a +
