Hey peeps, I'm trying to assemble my own personal turbo kit and i wanted to know does any body out there know where i can get a Intake Pipe to the throttle body with a flange already welded to it. I have everything i need for the kit, but my friends told me to get a pipe with a flange already welded. Any ideas?

 

junkyard?? of a car that was already turbo? seems to be the best bet

 

yeah just find you and dsm one.. they have plenty in the junkyards... or get one off an older mx6/probe turbo..

 

what kind of cars at the junk yard can you get the piping from? what models other than mx6?

I just got a turbo off of a probe for pretty cheap. a lil shaft play. i think i should get it rebuilt....??

Its Diamond Star Motors.. or Eclipse/Talon/Laser... You can probly only find 1st gens anyway... At one time i was goin to buy a Junkyard turbo.. bought it.. needed a rebuild.. sold it and got what i have now... But if junkyard is ur way.. the DSM is the easiest to find...

http://www.importpalace.com they sell crown premade i/c piping with flanges. or u can go to http://www.extrememotorsports.com and get a dsm pipe with a flange on it and cut to fit your application. i personally would buy a turbo xs bov and simply weld on a small tub for a flange, its pretty simple and easy.
