Civic n00b question
Ok, just bought my first Civic. I know nothing about cars except how to change oil. The previous owner lowered it, and i'm scraping on speedbumps. The part thats hitting is in the middle of the exhaust, I think its the catalytic converter. Is there a good place I can get a diagram to make sure?
And should i have original shocks added back or is there another solution to prevent the scraping? Thanks.
P.S. - Its a 1991 4 door

You need to figure out how they lowered it first. I.e. did they cut the springs, use coilover sleeves, shorter springs, etc. Then you can figure out how to raise it back up, since you may/may not have to replace/buy anything to adjust it back. It definitely sounds a little too low if the exhaust is scraping.

Here's what they show for the exhaust system layout for the various trim levels of the 4dr (http://www.hondaautomotivepart...YSTEM):
