new tires, no pull...need alignment?
everyone at the dealer i work at is telling me to get an alignment with my new tires, which are stock sized, even though i have no pull.
i figured id just check the tread every 1K and decide later on
any point in getting one? im using the factory size tire, and had an alignment recently on stock tires, which were worn, but evenly worn (same size as my new ones)
thanks

its always good to get an alignment when you get new tires cause you might have hit a bump and not realized it and knocked the car out of alignment, and why do you wanna waste your money on tires when an alignment will prolong the life of your tires

If your toe was out, it wont always cause the vehicle to pull. I'd take the car to an alignment shop. Some alignment shops will not charge if its not out of alignment. You can also get a warranty at firestone or NTB, so then you could have it checked again free of charge.
You wanna know what I do at the dealership.. I take the old tires off and slap on the new ones and send it out the door..
If the customers vehicle needed an alignment, they would've complained about it before I threw the tires on it..

i went to a shop the specializes in hondas, told him my tire history, he took it for a drive and said he advised against an alignment.
i guess i'll just keep an eye on the tread
its not as if people get alignments when the put winter tires on
like i said, i had an alignment with the same size tires only 10K ago

take it to an alignment shop and having them check your specs and then decide. its no charge for that.
sometimes a car doesnt have to pull to have something be out of spec.
